Skills-based management is an approach that provides real and measurable
benefits to the organization. It flows through the organization and contributes
to the major constituencies of the business. That includes each individual
employee, supervisors, training management, human resources, and senior
and line management, by focusing on their specific human capital needs and
obligations.
This affordable, fixed-price offering gives clients valuable input
in whether or not they have a skills-based management process that provides
a “chain” of information enabling appropriate participants to make informed
decisions about employees. Examples of these types of employee decisions
are: skills capabilities, recruitment of top performers, succession planning,
resource management, career development, learning management, curriculum
design, performance management and, most importantly, the organization’s
ability to meet business goals. All of these decision point inputs are part
of processes that are tied together to assure that the right skills exist
in the organization and are maximized to meet the evolving requirements
of the client.
